Beagles are known for their warm personality, admirable courage, stamina and trustworthiness. They make great family pets as they enjoy romping and playing. Beagles are receptive to training as watch dogs and for hunting. Though prone to howl when lonely, training will alleviate this problem. They adapt well to a home or kennel environment, but should not be left alone for long periods of time.
